Renault SAS is a French multinational automobile manufacturer established in 1899. The company produces a range of cars and vans and in the past, has manufactured trucks, tractors, tanks, buses/coaches, aircraft, aircraft engines, and auto rail vehicles. Together with Nissan, Renault invested €4 billion in eight electric vehicles over three to four years beginning in 2011. Since the launch of the Renault electric program, the group has sold more than 490,000 electric vehicles worldwide up until 2021.

Contribution

Renault contributes mainly to Task 5.4 ML method for RUL prediction of modules, where they will be determining testing conditions of used batteries and contribute to validating an integrated prototype of sorting and prognostics algorithm developed within the project.
